Ryan Shannon scored the lone regulation goal for the Senators in their 2-1 shootout win over the New York Rangers on Thursday night.
Shannon only has ten goals on the season but four in his last five games. It's incredible what an expanded role and more ice-time can do for a player. The Sens shipped away most of their top-six forwards at the trade deadline, but players like Shannon have benefitted and are now playing some of the best hockey of their careers. Shannon is worth a waiver wire pickup in the last weeks of the fantasy season.
