Ellis credited with loss

Dan Ellis allowed two goals on 19 shots but was credited with the loss in the Ducks' 5-4 defeat at the hands of the Nashville Predators on Thursday night.
Jonas Hiller started the game but was pulled after allowing three goals on only nine shots. Ellis has now lost twice in his last three games, and these aren't contests the Ducks can afford to be losing. They sit eighth in the Western Conference with 87 points, but are only one point up on ninth-place Dallas.
