Al Jefferson's inflamed right ankle was in a walking boot during Wednesday's loss to the Raptors.
Big Al apparently hurt the ankle during Wednesday's shootaround, left practice early to have it looked at, and then told the media he just had to use the restroom. This left fantasy owners in a bind, as news that he would be out didn't break until close to 8 p.m. ET. In any case, we will have more information on Thursday, when we should have a better idea of what his status will be for Friday at Dallas. Derrick Favors started for him on Wednesday and, not surprisingly, had 16 points, 12 boards and a block.
