Brendan Gallagher is thriving in his first year as a pro.
The Hamilton Bulldogs rookie leads the team in scoring with 11 points and would seem to be on the fast track to make the Canadiens opening-night roster. "Obviously, with the lockout, this season in Hamilton was a really good opportunity for me to come in," Gallagher said. "The Montreal organization has been watching every time you're on the ice." He had three straight years of 41-plus goals in the WHL before he jumped to the pros.
