NHL tells PA that their offer is unacceptable

NHLPA executive director Donald Fehr told the media Thursday night that the NHL left a voicemail message saying the union's counter wasn't acceptable.
Talks have broken off for now and the league is expected to speak on the matter soon. Fehr addressed the media shortly before saying that the offer had been rejected and said he believed there were agreements in place on total dollars. However, this sudden development has everything in a state of flux once again.
