Ryan Strome hopes to make an impact at WJC
Ryan Strome - C - New York Islanders
Dec. 6, 2012 - 8:40 AM ET

Ryan Strome has unfinished business to attend to at the 2013 World Junior Championship.

The Team Canada hopeful was a member of last tournament's bronze-medal winning squad and this time around he wants to win the gold. "We didn't get the medal we wanted," said Strome. "It's definitely hard to sit on that for a full year and I don't think any of us wants to do that again. This is a great chance for us to turn things around and make up for what happened." The New York Islanders prospect should land a spot on Canada's roster because of his previous experience and how dominant he's been in the OHL this year. Strome was named the player of the month for November and he leads the league in scoring with 59 points in only 30 games.
