E. Staal gets 'positive vibe' from CBA talks

Eric Staal talked about the "positive vibes" that are coming out of the latest CBA negotiations.
He has not been attending the meetings, but he has remained in the loop via texts and is hopeful that something good will come out of the recent talks between the NHLPA and the NHL. "It's been up and down as we've gone on, but definitely positive vibes were coming out of (New York) and hopefully we can keep the ball rolling and get back to playing," Staal said. "The main thing is there was some positive progress that you hope continues and gets us back on the ice."
