Landry Fields took advantage of the worst game of Carmelo Anthony's career and had 18 points, four rebounds, five assists, two steals, two blocks and a 3-pointer on 6-of-12 shooting in 30 minutes of Tuesday's easy win over the Bobcats.
Fields has scored in double digits in four straight and has scored either 17 or 18 in three of those. He's also contributing across the board in fantasy and turned his game around just in time for the return of Baron Davis. At this point, it looks like Fields is likely to keep his starting job, and it will be Iman Shumpert coming off the bench once (and if) Davis is healthy enough to start and play major minutes. If Fields is available in your league, it's time to move on him if you've got a player you want to drop. Just keep in mind that's it's probably not a coincidence that Fields is peaking while Anthony continues to struggle for the Knicks (one point tonight).
