Tuukka Rask is back in Boston after concluding his lockout stint with HC Plzen in the Czech Extraliga.
He was on the ice Tuesday morning for an informal skate with a group of local NHL skaters. Rask will wait for the work stoppage to end and then try to prove that he can be the team's number one goaltender after signing a one-year pact worth $3.5 million this past summer. Anton Khudobin, who is slated to be Rask's backup when the NHL resumes play, is still overseas playing in the KHL.
