Adam Henrique's recovery time after successful thumb surgery could exceed six weeks.
Henrique said the ailment is the same one that teammate Jacob Josefson suffered two years ago and it resulted in Josefson missing two and a half months. Henrique's initial timetable was set at four to six weeks following a procedure to reattach the ulnar collateral ligament to his left thumb after it had been completely torn. "At this point, it is what it is," said the 22-year-old center. "I'm a young guy. We did the surgery and it went well. I just want to make sure it heals up properly and if it's needed take more time to make sure it's healed properly that's something you have to do."
