Semyon Varlamov out with knee injury

Semyon Varlamov has missed the last five games with a knee injury.

Varlamov is currently across the pond playing for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl where he has a 1.77 GAA, a .947 save percentage and a 6-2-3 record in 11 games. The Colorado netminder's injury is not considered to be serious although information out of Russia may not be forthcoming so quickly. He has been replaced by former Columbus goaltender Curtis Sanford in the Yaroslavl net.
