Staal didn't seem to get tired as the game went on. In fact, he fired seven of his nine shots on goal in the third period. Unfortunately, Staal didn't manage to record a point in the contest despite his efforts. He has just one assist in his last five game, but it shouldn't be long before he breaks out of his mini-slump.
