Nicklas Backstrom scored twice for Dynamo Moscow in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Vityaz Chekhov.
His Washington teammate, Alex Ovechkin, assisted on both of his markers. Backstrom has recorded six goals and 11 points in nine contests this campaign with his lockout club. After being limited to 42 games last season because of a concussion, the Capitals top center is getting valuable playing time in Russia to stay sharp for when the NHL gets back to business.
