Alex Semin still wants to raise fitness level

Alexander Semin still doesn't feel that his overall fitness is up to par despite playing since late September.
He began playing with his hometown team in the VHL prior to signing with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod of the KHL two weeks later. "Without doubt, I still need to improve my physical condition," said Semin on the team's website. "I could have scored more points. A lot of chances have come up, but I don't always have enough composure yet." Semin has registered two goals and five assists in eight KHL matches.
