Capitals' Braden Holtby stays strong in AHL
Braden Holtby - G - Washington Capitals
Nov. 17, 2012 - 10:20 PM ET

Braden Holtby saved 23 of 24 shots in the Hershey Bears' 4-1 victory against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

Holtby was supposed to get a shot at being the Washington Capitals starter this season after excelling in their 2012 playoff run. Obviously the lockout has forced Holtby to be patient, but in the meantime he's been dominating at the AHL level. He has a 2.36 GAA and .933 save percentage in eight games.
