
Although Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly and union special counsel Steve Fehr spoke briefly on Friday, no negotiating took place.
The two sides still seem to be on a break from trying to hammer out a deal. The clock keeps ticking and more games are likely to be cancelled next week. As it stands, all games in November have been wiped out. Next up the first two weeks in December. We can only hope that after Friday's conversation the two sides will get together for a bargaining session earlier than 12 days from now.
