NHL, NHLPA to continue talks Friday

The NHL responded to the NHLPA's two new proposals, but their reaction wasn't made available to the public.
The two sides have been tight-lipped with regard to their negotiations this week. They agreed to meet again on Friday to continue talking. These negotiations have been viewed as generally positive because key members are discussing key issues, but at this point the process could go either way.
