Sharks bench will feature four coaches
Todd McLellan - C - San Jose Sharks
Nov. 8, 2012 - 5:20 PM ET

Todd McLellan will head up a crowded Sharks' bench once the lockout is over.

The San Jose bench boss will be joined by three assistants, including Larry Robinson, Jim Johnson and Jay Woodcroft. Robinson and Johnson will be tasked with the defense and penalty kill, while McLellan and Woodcroft will work more closely with the forwards and power play. The Sharks staff has been attending AHL and college games to keep themselves occupied, but they are anxious to resume their 'normal' hockey routines. "We want to work," McLellan said. "Our bodies, we're like players. We're on a schedule, we should already be going."
