San Jose forward Patrick Marleau is now taking a softer stance in the dealings between both sides in the NHL dispute.
Marleau was militant a couple of weeks ago when he told Josh Rimer of NSSradiotv.com that the owners planned to cancel regular season games long before they announced it. But it seems now that he is more contrite. "Any time you talk, hopefully cooler heads will prevail and [the owners will] scrap whatever script they are going by and realize that they're hurting the game. They're only hurting themselves in the end of things," Marleau said. Stay tuned.
