The NHL has handed Trevor Gillies a 10-game suspension.
Gillies had returned from a nine-game suspension on Wednesday for elbowing Pittsburgh's Eric Tangradi in the head and then punching him. Apparently he didn't learn his lesson, because he was ejected from Wednesday's contest after hitting Minnesota's Cal Clutterbuck in the head. Gillies is a great source of penalty minutes, but obviously he won't have any value to fantasy owners or his team if he keeps getting suspended.
