DALLAS - U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement say they helped seize nearly $200,000 in fake NBA merchandise during All-Star weekend in the Dallas area.
More than 4,000 pieces of counterfeit items were seized from arena parking lots, hotels and flea markets. The items included more than 500 jerseys, 3,300 T-shirts and 37 hats.
ICE officials worked with police from Arlington and Dallas as well as the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office and DA’s office.
The NBA All-Star game was Sunday at Cowboys Stadium in suburban Arlington.
