Rangers summon goalie Cam Talbot from minors

The Rangers have brought up goalie Cameron Talbot from the minors.
Talbot was brought up after Martin Biron suffered a broken collarbone at practice on Monday that is projected to put him on the shelf for at least six weeks. The minor-league netminder has split time between Connecticut of the AHL and Greenville of the ECHL this season. However, he isn't expected to see much action in the Rangers crease during his call up. If number one goalie Henrik Lundqvist needs a break then it is likely that Chad Johnson will be recalled from the minors to see some NHL minutes.
