Martin Biron suffers a broken collarbone
Martin Biron - G - New York Rangers
March 1, 2011 - 8:35 AM ET

Martin Biron will miss at least the next six weeks after suffering a broken collarbone during Monday's practice.

He isn't expected to play for the remainder of the regular season, so number one goalie Henrik Lundqvist will see the majority of the team's remaining 18 games. Biron performed well as Lundqvist's understudy this campaign with an 8-6-0 record, a .923 save percentage and a 2.13 GAA in 17 appearances.
