Coyotes get Byers as part of Klesla deal

Dane Byers was involved in the trade that brought Scottie Upshall and Sami Lepisto to Columbus.
Byers and Rostislav Klesla are now part of the Phoenix Coyotes organization. Byers was traded by the Rangers, who drafted him 48th overall in 2004, to Columbus in November. He has generated 12 goals and 34 points in 64 games with the Hartford Wolf Pack/Connecticut Whale and the Springfield Falcons this season.
