Sterling returned to minors by Pens

The Penguins have returned forward Brett Sterling to the AHL.
Sterling rejoins his teammates in Wilkes-Barre after his performance in seven NHL games tapered off after a fantastic start. Most recently, Sterling was a healthy scratch in the team's 4-1 loss to the Hurricanes Friday. The return of forwards Mark Letestu and Dustin Jeffrey also didn't help Sterling's chances.
