The Columbus Blue Jackets are looking for a top center with Derick Brassard still on the sidelines with a hand injury.
"We'd like to get another center, especially with Derick hurt," GM Scott Howson said. "But centers are few and far between in this league." It appears that Brad Richards will be too costly for the Jackets as the Stars would want a lot in return for the scoring pivot, and rumors are abound that Stephen Weiss and Tim Connolly may no longer be available. It should be interesting leading up to the 3 pm ET trade deadline on Monday.
