According to SNY's Kevin Burkhardt, Jose Reyes (hamstring) sprinted 90 feet five times in a row during a workout on Long Island on Monday.
"That's how I do it," Reyes said. "I'm ready to play baseball." It's some rare good news for Mets fans, but it could also boost his showing in fantasy drafts. Reyes hasn't experienced any setbacks since undergoing surgery to repair his right hamstring tendon in October and looks to be on track for spring training. Owners should expect a few less steals, but he's still one of the top shortstops available if healthy.
