Tyreke Evans leaves w/ sprained left ankle
Tyreke Evans - G - Sacramento Kings
Jan. 8, 2012 - 7:20 PM ET

Tyreke Evans left Sunday's game after coming down awkwardly and spraining his left ankle, and was helped into the Kings locker room.

Evans was in serious pain and couldn't put weight on the ankle as he left the court. He has had left ankle issues before, and we anticipate the Kings playing it safe with their stud guard, but during a halftime interview DeMarcus Cousins suggested that Evans "just tweaked" his ankle and should return in the second half. If he misses time, Jimmer Fredette, John Salmons and even Francisco Garcia could get extra playing time. Stay tuned for an update.
