Jason Kidd hurt his back on rebound attempt

Jason Kidd said that he sustained his back injury when he was boxing out DeJuan Blair for a rebound.
Kidd also revealed that he's confident he'll return to the court "soon" with some rest and rehab. He's already been ruled out of Dallas' next two games, but the earliest he'll play is Friday against Milwaukee. Delonte West and Roddy Beaubois will see a boost in playing time for as long as Kidd is sidelined.
