Patrick Kaleta re-signed with the Sabres on a three-year deal worth $3.825 million.
The agitator was a draft pick of the Sabres in 2004 and has spent his entire career with the team, mostly bringing toughness. He was also a useful penalty killer last year as well. The 26-year-old can be an asset in the deepest of fantasy leagues that reward penalty minutes, as he had 116 in 63 games last season. Just don't expect too many points: Kaleta has just 50 in 267 career NHL games. He was a restricted free agent and earned $955,000 last season.
