Sergei Bobrovsky is excited at the prospect of being a number one goalie again with his new team in Columbus.
"Playing with Ilya [Bryzgalov], I learned lots of important things, which will help my career," he said in an email interview. "Now I prepare myself for proving that I''m deserving to be No. 1. I'm really excited to have an opportunity to become No. 1. Obviously, it's for the coaches to decide. I will do my best to play more, though, because I love to play." The Blue Jackets were impressed with stories of Bobrovsky's work ethic and that drive should serve him well in the competition, with Steve Mason, for starts in Columbus.
