There's still a chance that Jiri Hudler will re-sign with the Detroit Red Wings.
Hudler's agent, Petr Svoboda has engaged in negotiations with Red Wings GM Ken Holland, but it sounds like those talks have stalled. "Kenny made an offer to us, I would say four to five days ago, and we left it at that point," Svoboda said. "We didn't close the door. Maybe we'll be talking before July 1st. But if not, then we can talk though July 1st. Nothing done yet." Svoboda emphasized that Hudler is still open to re-signing with Detroit. Hudler is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent on Sunday.
