Semin may be Rangers' second choice

The Rangers, who are expected to pull out all stops to sign UFA Zach Parise, may be looking at Alexander Semin as a second choice.
The Blueshirts need a sniper to replace the injured Marian Gaborik, who will miss the first few months of the season due to shoulder surgery. Parise would be the team's first choice, but Semin could also be a target if his asking price is not too unreasonable. Stay tuned.
