Bryan McCabe has accepted a job in player development with the Panthers.
McCabe skated for Florida from 2009-11 and has unofficially retired from playing. The former Panthers' captain helped GM Dale Tallon during this past weekend's entry draft. "This is an opportunity to work with the kids," McCabe said. "I'm still relevant a little bit in which the kids know who I am. They saw me play. I think I can help out and groom these kids." We wish McCabe luck in his new career.
