Stars unsure about qualifying Tom Wandell

The Dallas Stars have not reached a decision on whether or not to tender a qualifying offer to restricted free agent Tom Wandell.
The team has already announced offers to eight players, including Jamie Benn, Philip Larsen, Mark Fistric, Richard Bachman, but they will not retain the services of Angelo Esposito, Michael Neal, Mikhail Stefanovich and Jake Hauswirth. Wandell's offer would be just $892,500 so it wouldn't break the bank, but he hasn't made much of an impact at the NHL level during his career with the Stars. He had six goals and nine assists in 72 games last season, while averaging just 9:44 of ice time.
