Jordan Staal doesn't want out of Pittsburgh

Jordan Staal has not requested a trade out of Pittsburgh and GM Ray Shero expects to speak with the center's agent, Paul Krepelka, at the NHL draft this weekend.
Shero wants to re-sign Staal to a contract extension since he can become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the 2012-13 campaign. There have been plenty of trade rumors circulating Staal already, but it doesn't look like either side wants to tread down that path right now.
