Sheldon Souray has reportedly turned down a one-year contract offer from the Dallas Stars.
It's believed that the Stars were offering Souray about $3 million. If the report is true, then Souray might regret it later. Souray had a respectable six goals and 21 points in 64 games last season. However, he's got a long injury history and he'll turn 36 in July. Even in a thin market, he's not likely to get another offer worth more than $3 million annually, although there might be a team out there open to giving him a two-year deal if he's willing to be flexible in terms of pay.
