In a rare bit of positive news surrounding the world's #1 golfer, at least recently, the Associated Press has voted Tiger Woods as the Athlete of the Decade.
Woods' record stands alone among his peers in golf, but this award spans all sports. "Woods received 56 of the 142 votes cast by AP member editors since last month," the AP report stated. "More than half of the ballots were returned after the Nov. 27 car accident outside his Florida home." Cyclist Lance Armstrong finished second with 33 votes. Tennis star, Roger Federer, placed third with 25. Meanwhile, adding another scandal to what is already an overwhelming disaster in many facets of Woods' life, he has been connected to a Canadian doctor that openly admits to using human growth hormones. Although the doctor claims that he has given HGH to athletes, authorities are investigating. This news closely trails the report that Elin is planning on divorcing Tiger very soon.
