The Columbus Dispatch is reporting that Columbus and St. Louis Blues' President John Davidson have met to discuss Davidson taking charge of the Blue Jackets.
Davidson has a 30 day clause in his contract that allows him to look at other opportunities if the Blues got a new owner which happened last month. While it is unclear at this time what Davidson's role would be if he took a job with the Blue Jackets, he would be a vital part of the front office. Needless to say, Davidson did not comment on the rumors. Stay tuned as the 30 day clause is nearing its end.
