There is speculation mounting that Marian Gaborik may have been playing injured during New York's playoff run.
He was asked after the Rangers' elimination from the postseason if he would need any medical treatment or procedures this summer and he said, "I don't want to talk about it. I'll know in a few days." There's a belief that he sustained a shoulder injury early in the playoffs, but we should more if he gets anything worked on over the off-season. Gaborik netted 41 goals in 82 games during the regular season, but he scored just five times in 20 postseason contests.
