Accenture will no longer sponsor Tiger Woods

Accenture has ended it sponsorship deal with Tiger Woods.

In a statement, Accenture said, "After careful consideration and analysis, the company has determined that he is no longer the right representative for its advertising." Those are biting words that would have seemed implausible as recent as Thanksgiving Day. Woods has already lost deals or exposure with Gatorade, Tag Hauer and Gillette, but all four companies remain included as sponsors at TigerWoods.com. Neither Woods nor anyone on his team has responded to today's development.
