OMAHA, Neb. - A threat against a Dallas student has been found on a Facebook fan page for Heisman Trophy finalist Ndamukong Suh of Nebraska.
Kevin Janse of the Dallas police says the threat was reported to Lincoln, Neb., police, who notified authorities there.
Janse says officers interviewed the student Friday at Jesuit College Preparatory School and deemed the threat not credible. No charges will be filed.
Janse said Suh saw the threat and reported it. But Nebraska spokesman Keith Mann says the defensive lineman knew nothing about it. Suh told him the fan page was likely one of several accounts with his name started by other people.
Lincoln police did not immediately comment.
Miami coach Al Golden says the worst is behind him, but his headaches figure to continue now that former booster Nevin Shapiro, now in jail, says his involvement with the Hurricanes program will result in stiff penalties.
CFT: Jordan Jefferson makes it clear he wasn't happy with LSU's game plan in the Tigers' BCS Championship Game loss to Alabama.
