Joffrey Lupul has had a number of different linemates since returning to the lineup on Dec. 5 from a blood infection.
"You just try and do what you can," he said. "I've never really been in this role before on a team. It's definitely difficult for me. It's not, maybe, getting the ice time I would have liked, ideally ' it's tough to play with new guys every night but I'm starting to get the feeling that that's just how it's going to be. You just try and develop what chemistry you can." Through all the shuffling he has just four goals and seven points in 15 games. We are more inclined to say that his game has a considerable amount of rust on it due to not playing much last year and entering the party late this season because of injury. However, having to search for chemistry with several linemates has had an impact as well. Lupul should be able to turn it around eventually.
