The Los Angeles Kings have not allowed a power play goal in their last 29 penalty kills.
The Coyotes only had one power play chance on Thursday as Willie Mitchell led the Kings in shorthanded time on ice, playing 1:21 of the two minute minor. The Kings have allowed only three goals in 48 attempts in the 2012 Stanley Cup playoffs and have actually potted four shorthanded goals to make the penalty kill a better experience for the Kings than the opposition.
