NHL suspends Martin Hanzal for one game

Martin Hanzal has received a one-game suspension for his boarding major on Los Angeles Kings forward Dustin Brown in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals.

He was given a game misconduct for his actions in the contest and will not be in the lineup when the series shifts to Los Angeles for Game 3 on Thursday night. Hanzal will be eligible to return on Sunday afternoon in the fourth game of the best-of-seven series. He has three goals and five points in 10 postseason contests.
