White Sox signed infielder-outfielder Mark Teahen to a three-year, $14 million contract.
The White Sox bought out his final two years of arbitration and his first year of free agency. He'll take home $3.75 million in 2010, $4.75 million in 2011 and $5.5 million in 2012. Teahen, 28, was acquired from the Royals in exchange for Chris Getz and Josh Fields in November. Early indications are that the .269/.331/.419 lifetime hitter will play third base with the White Sox in '10.
