Surgery could sideline Ryan Kesler into 12-13

The Canucks announced Tuesday that Ryan Kesler had successful shoulder surgery and that he could miss the early portion of next season.
Following Vancouver's opening-round exit at the hands of the Kings, Kesler revealed he played the last couple months of the season with an injured shoulder. It is the second straight off-season procedure for Kesler, who had hip surgery last July.
