Could Detroit be Ryan Suter's new home?

Disappointing finish could prompt Ryan Suter to consider leaving Nashville.
The thought process is that if the Preds appear to be a team on cusp of being a true Stanley Cup contender for the next few seasons, then Suter might stay. However, it has been two straight second-round exits for a franchise that has yet to appear in the Western Conference Final. Also, is there enough money to go around for Suter and Shea Weber with GM David Poile & Co. still being able to address other needs? That question leads to the argument that Detroit could be a more "stable" home for Suter.
