Ishikawa earns tee time at the 2010 U.S. Open
Dec. 6, 2009 - 12:10 PM ET

Ryo Ishikawa has qualified for the 2010 U.S. Open for finishing atop the Japan Golf Tour money list.

Heady stuff for an 18-year old. Despite a slow start this year, Ishikawa finished with four victories, two runners-up and three other top-6s. He was already eligible for the British Open, and is certain to qualify for the Masters (via top-50 on end-of-year world ranking; Ishikawa is currently 29th) and PGA Championship (via traditional special invite to top-100 in OWGR in early August if he doesn't win a PGA Tour event before then) eventually.
