Jaroslav Halak 'getting better', skates Thurs

Jaroslav Halak (lower body) skated on Thursday prior to practice, but his status for the start of St. Louis' second-round series against Los Angeles remains unchanged.
"He's getting better," coach Ken Hitchcock said. "He's not ready for the first two games. We'll see from there." Halak was injured in Game 2 versus San Jose when he was crashed into by teammate Barret Jackman.
